Our Workshop

We make clothes that mark a moment.

The name of a first grandchild. The day someone becomes Auntie. A first game day. Those aren't slogans you can buy off a rack — they belong to one person, on one date, and that is the only kind of thing we make.

One name at a time

Every Vivian Clothing piece is embroidered after you order it, against the name you gave us. There is no stock room of finished shirts waiting for a buyer. Your piece starts as a blank and a thread colour, and it goes under a needle in our own workshop.

That order matters more than it sounds. Because nothing is made in advance, nothing is generic — and because we run the machines ourselves, we can see every stitch before it goes in a box.

Our own workshop

We are not a print shop that forwards your order somewhere else. The embroidery machines are ours, the thread is ours, and the people watching the hoops are on our floor.

It means we control the things that actually decide whether a piece is good: how dense the fill is, whether the gingham appliqué is edge-stitched tight enough to survive a wash, whether the chenille script is raised the way it should be. It also means when something isn't right, we can put it back on a machine the same week.

How it's made

1. You tell us the name. The name, the title, the date — whatever marks the moment. Mimi, Auntie, a first birthday, a game day.
2. We stitch it in our workshop. One order, one piece. Your name goes under our needles, on our own machines — nothing sits in a warehouse waiting.
3. It marks the moment. Wrapped and shipped like the gift it is — made for exactly one person, and no one else.

Production takes about 3–5 business days before your piece ships. Shipping is included in the price you see; there is no minimum and nothing gets added at checkout.

What we don't do

We don't sell blanks. We don't reprint someone else's moment. And we don't stitch school, team or brand marks we don't own — the words on your piece are the words you choose.
